EPA's Enforcement Policy
Comment 1 16 Sep 2010, 1:45 AM
there doesn't seem to be any enforcement by the EPA at night regarding noise pollution in the CBD. cleaning contractors, rubbish trucks etc do whatever they like, wherever they like in vehicles that do not meet EPA guidelines. What exactly do you do? There is no enforcement!

When you consider all the new high rise buildings, maybe we need methods to measure the noise from about the vehicles as well as around. The noise at night from above is a lot louder that at ground level.

Enforcement??? What is THAT??? What inforcement?
Why are you so happy to sit back and watch our Environment in the South West go down hill at an alarming rate?
Why do you NOT test off site Dairy Waste when it has been spread onto adjoining Farms and may contain Johne's disease?
Especially in an area where the water ways lead into rivers?
Is that ok by you?
What are you doing about HOT ROCK AUSTRALIA???
Are you allowing them to proceed without an EES?
What protocols are you putting in place to stop odour, what is the buffer zone required?
Why are they allowed to do what they more…

Oh yes, I forgot to mention the Pollution from Vehicles that should be applied to the up and coming
Housing Estate at the West End of King ST
All vehicles are to take a left turn at the exit to go to Port Fairy,
bringing them right to our corner.........which is a bottle neck, and can NOT be enlarged.
What are our rights there?
Would someone like to notify the Moyne Shire Planners, so they know what your RULES AND REGS ARE?
It should not be left up to the People to enforce your RULES!!!
Yet this is what is going on consistently over a long period of time.
Please do make sure you notify the Council, as they are unaware of your Rules.
Thank you.
